Sun 7 Jun 2020
AJ Bell World Triathlon Leeds will be transforming the city into a festival of triathlon as it once again hosts a leg of the ITU World Triathlon Series in 2020. With Tokyo 2020 just around the corner, this event will see many Olympic hopefuls from across the world race head-to-head through the green parks and the bustling city centre of Leeds on Sunday 7 June 2020.
Our purpose-built grandstand offers unreserved seating, which provides the best viewing experience of both the transition areas and the iconic race finish. The event’s festival atmosphere will be complemented by big screens, live commentary and entertainment including exclusive athlete interviews. The grandstand provides all the facilities you would expect from the most prestigious triathlon event in the UK in the heart of Millennium Square. This is simply the best way to experience the high-octane action, concluding with the final opportunity to see GB’s Olympic athletes compete before they head off for Tokyo.
The grandstand will allow you to see the world’s best triathletes race by several times on both the bike and run before the thrilling finish that’s situated right in front of the grandstand on the famous blue carpet.
Please note: The grandstand is open to the general public to watch the mass participation races. Ticket holders will be able to access the grandstand after the mass participation races have finished. These timings will be communicated to you when you receive your ticket at least two weeks prior to the event.
Accessible seating is available within the main grandstand. To book your accessible seating please call the box office on 0113 376 0318.
