Jazz Leeds Festival

JazzLeeds Festival will make its return for a second year this July with a jam-packed programme of both free and ticketed events, including concerts and workshops across the city centre. This now extended 6 day festival will boast a two-day free music programme on Millennium Square as part of the annual Summer Series. Come and join us on Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th July for a lunchtime or early evening concert performed by local and community bands.

12pm-1pm Jazz Leeds Workshop Band - community jazz
1pm-2pm Dales Jam led by Richard Ormrod - community jazz
5pm-6pm GSAL Jazz Ensemble directed by Adrian Knowles 
6pm-7pm Los Cameradas - community salsa band

Ubunye - Zulu performers & seasoned UK musicians collaborate

two combine ancient tradition with contemporary flare.

Tuesday 24 July 

12pm-1pm John Settle's 'Vibeology' - cool jazz

'Morpher' quirky grooves twisted by breakfast drum and bass,

modern Jazz and head shaking Hip-Hop

5pm-6pm Al Morrison's Blues Experience - nine piece contemporary blues ensemble
6pm-7pm  Ron Burnett's Mardi Gras - traditional jazz band
7pm-8.30pm Swing dance to Tom Sharp Jazz Orchestra and the Honeybirds
