UK musical visionary Ben Drew aka Plan B will perform this summer in Leeds as part of the outdoor Millennium Square Summer Series of Concerts.
Writer, producer, actor and performer, Ben Drew is a unique artist. His live shows have always thrilled and his sets are peppered with hits. With his new single Guess Again now taking over the radio and fourth studio album Heaven Before All Hell Breaks Loose set for release on Friday 04 May, 2018 promises to be another stellar year for Plan B.
Plan B is a multi-nominated artist and winner of many awards: Brits, Mobos, Mercury Music Prize, Ivor Novello, Q, NME, MTV and many, many more. He has received critical acclaim and awards for his film output and has appeared as an actor in many films. Dynamic, creative, unique and pioneering, Plan B will bring his own slice of energy to Leeds on 20 July.
Plan B will be joined to by two local talents; DJs Dan Hills and Lawrence James, who will each be bringing their own mixes and the latest summer anthems to the stage – both brilliant warm ups ahead of Plan B’s much awaited performance.
Dan Hills is an international DJ who has worked with some of the biggest artist in the music industry, including Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Chase & Status, Drake and many more. With DJ sets under his belt at international events and headlining at some of the UK’s largest festivals, Dan is set to ramp up the volume at Leeds this summer as he warms up the crowd. He will no doubt be a popular choice as the renowned founder of ‘Sticky Feet’ – the city’s biggest weekly bass night, now in its seventh year.
Lawrence James has developed a highly successful DJ career spanning over 10 years, with a huge local fan following in addition to a diverse back catalogue of DJ sets at some of the biggest clubs in the world from Dubai to Marbella. Lawrence has amassed over four million video views and three million plans on Soundcloud, and has also brought his decks to festivals across the UK, including V Festival, T in the Park, Reading and Radio 1 Big Weekend, amongst others.
