Main Info

Celebrate St Patrick’s Day in Leeds on Sunday 17 March. This year, the Parade marks its 25th Anniversary, and it will be a celebration in time-honoured fashion!

Come and wave off the parade which will leave Millennium Square via Great George Street at 11am and travel through Leeds City Centre.  There will be colourful floats and walking displays crafted by schools and Irish community groups, as well as music from pipe and brass bands.

Continue the celebrations on Millennium Square from 11am until 4pm where the stage will be filled with music and dance from home-grown Leeds talent, featuring Irish traditional music from the Leeds branch of Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Eireann, local favourites Sean Harrington and Luke Flear, the Leeds Irish Choir and Tommy K the DJ with the best in Irish dance from the Joyce O’Donnell and St Aldreds Schools of Dance and Leeds University Union Dancers.

Come down for a family day out with refreshment stalls, rides for the kids, and a bar to raise a celebratory pint of Guinness!

This is a community led event co-ordinated by the Leeds St Patricks Day Parade Committee supported by local sponsors, with funding support from Leeds City Council, and the Government of Ireland Emigrant Support Programme.
