Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update:

 

As we continue to follow national guidance around managing the impact of Coronavirus in Leeds, a large number of our venues and facilities (including Leeds Town Hall, Carriageworks, and Pudsey Civic centre) have now closed to the public and will remain so throughout March and April. The safety and wellbeing of staff and the people of Leeds is always our first priority.

 

A number of events due to take place at Millennium Square have now been postponed or cancelled. These include the annual Vaisakhi Parade, Tour de Yorkshire, the AJ Bell World Triathlon Leeds and the Leeds Food & Drink Festival. All other scheduled events are currently being reviewed on a weekly basis and we will keep you informed as soon as we can to confirm either way. In the meantime we are developing our online content and we will endeavour to engage with as many people as we can through our social media channels.

 

For any ticket holders, including those who have purchased grandstand tickets for the AJ Bell World Triathlon, a member of our Box Office team will be in touch as soon as possible to let you know of forthcoming arrangements. If you have any immediate queries please contact boxoffice@leeds.gov.uk and allow our team to either respond via email or call you back. Should this not be possible, please do call the team on 0113 376 0318 (Mon-Fri between 10am and 5pm), but please be prepared for a short wait. We would like to reassure every ticket holder that we will get back to you as soon as we can by email, telephone or post. We won’t forget you.

The Popworld Festival

The Popworld Festival

Popworld are launching the first ever Popworld Festival on Saturday 1 August at Millennium Square, Leeds bringing together some of the greatest pop acts of the 90s and 00s on the big stage.

Everything you love about Popworld plus some HUGE names, including 5ive, S Club, Fatman Scoop, Paul Chuckle & the man responsible for the ultimate pop record, Mysterious Girl - Peter Andre will be headlining. You won’t want to miss what is guaranteed to a dream come true for all pop music fans!

A number of street food catering concessions together with a fully licensed multi-pour festival style bar in partnership with Heineken will be available within the specially created outdoor arena. The venue is also fully accessible with a raised viewing platform, disabled toilets and a Changing Places high dependency unit. Find out more about accessibity.
