By Train
Leeds Train Station is around a 10-minute walk from Ice Cube, with regular services connecting Leeds to cities across the UK.
From the station, exit onto City Square, follow signs towards The Headrow and continue uphill towards Millennium Square.
By Car
Due to ongoing roadworks, the drop-off point on Great George Street (LS1 3DW) may be inaccessible at times. We recommend using the loading bay on Calverley Street or arranging drop-off near Leeds City Museum instead.
While we encourage visitors to travel by public transport wherever possible, we understand this isn’t always practical. If you’re travelling with others, please consider car sharing to help reduce environmental impact.
There are several parking options available nearby, including on-street parking and secure car parks:
- Woodhouse Lane Multi-Storey Car Park – Open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Located opposite Leeds Beckett University, with access from the inner ring road.
- The Rose Bowl (pay and display, short stay) – Located off Portland Crescent near Leeds Civic Hall. Open daily.
- The Light Multi-Storey Car Park (long stay) – Open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Access via Dudley Way off Great George Street.
- St John’s Shopping Centre Multi-Storey Car Park (long stay) – Open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Located off Merrion Street.

Blue Badge Holders
The nearest blue badge parking is on Cookridge Street. Other nearby blue badge parking is located on Rossington Street, Alexander Street, Calverley Street and St. Anne Street.
Woodhouse Lane Multi-Storey Car Park also provides limited designated accessible parking on Levels 1 and 7 which is free for blue badge holders.
By Bus
Leeds Bus Station is around a 15‑minute walk from Ice Cube. The city centre is well served by frequent bus routes from across the region, with nearby stops on The Headrow just a short distance from Millennium Square.

Accessibility
We're committed to making Ice Cube at Christmas as accessible and inclusive as possible.
Accessible Skating
Wheelchair users are welcome on the Ice Rink during public skating sessions.
We also offer dedicated Accessible Skating sessions, providing a safe and enjoyable skating experience for wheelchair users and other disabled visitors.
Accessible Facilities
The event site includes accessible toilet facilities and a Changing Places toilet located adjacent to the Civic Hall.
The Changing Places facility includes:
- Tracking hoist (contact the events team for information as slings are not provided)
- Height-adjustable changing bench
- Peninsular toilet
- Height-adjustable wash basin
In addition, two disabled person's toilets with a choice of left or right-hand transfer are available within the permanent Millennium Square toilet facilities. Both are accessible via a ramped approach and operated using a RADAR key.
Access Around the Event Site
Ice Cube takes place across Millennium Square, Victoria Gardens and Cookridge Street, with accessible routes available throughout the event site.

The safety of our visitors, staff and contractors is our priority. We work closely with our security provider, Gough & Kelly, West Yorkshire Polive and other agencies to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
- Security searches of clothing, bags and personal belongings may take place during your visit.
- Please follow all instructions from our SIA-accredited stewards.
- CCTV is in operation for public safety and crime prevention.
- Uniformed and armed police officers may be present as part of routine security operations.
- If you see anything suspicious, speak to a member of staff. Call 101 for non-emergencies or 999 in an emergency.
