FAC51 The Hacienda have announced a major outdoor show at Millennium Square, Leeds on Friday 19 July 2024 as part of the venue’s annual Summer Series and the renowned Sounds Of The City series promoted by one of the UK’s largest concert promoters – SJM Concerts.

Sold-out year on year in venues across the UK, Hacienda Classical spearheaded by Tim Crooks, will feature Leeds’s very own Orchestra of Opera North for the first time. Together, they will deliver a non-stop set of Club Classics, reimagined and brought to life by the 40-piece symphony orchestra, alongside special guest artists soon to be revealed.

Graeme Park, legendary DJ and one of Hacienda Classical’s curators said:

Receiving rave reviews from both audiences and critics alike, with accolades such as ‘a powerful poignant performance’ (The Independent), Hacienda Classical has gathered widespread acclaim, captivating crowds throughout the UK. Its illustrious repertoire spans prestigious stages, including Glastonbury Festival’s iconic Pyramid Stage, Isle Of Wight, Kendal Calling, The Big Festival, Kew The Music, and Lytham Festival, as well as London’s Royal Albert Hall and its annual sold-out residency at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl.

Set in a specially created outdoor arena on Millennium Square, the event on Saturday 19 July 2024 will open from 6.30pm. A licensed bar and several street food catering concessions will be available on site and the venue is also fully accessible with a raised viewing platform, disabled toilets and a Changing Places unit.
