FAQs
Do I need to pay to enter the festival?
No – entry is completely free. Whether you are coming for the food, the drinks, or the music, entry won’t cost you a thing.
What are the opening times of the festival?
The festival runs at the following times:
Friday 24th: 4:00pm – 8:00pm
Saturday 25th: 11:00am – 8:00pm
Sunday 26th: 11:00am – 6:00pm
Please note: These times are the last order times, and no entry will be permitted after these times.
Do I need a ticket?
No ticket is required – just bring your appetite!
Can I Bring Kids?
Absolutely. Many traders will offer child-friendly meals, and all entertainment is suitable for all ages. Alcohol will be available, but there will also be plenty of soft drink options.
Will there be vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options?
Yes – most traders will offer vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options alongside their main menus. Please check the trader list for specific offerings and speak directly with traders on the day regarding allergies or dietary requirements.
Is the festival sheltered?
The event is outdoors. While some areas of Millennium Square will offer shade or shelter, plan appropriately for the Great British Summer weather (e.g. suncream, umbrellas etc).
Will there be toilets on site?
Yes, there are plenty of toilets situated on site at Millennium Square, including disabled access toilets, and a Changing Places unit.
Where is the entrance to the festival?
The main entry gates are located by the Leeds City Museum, on Cookridge Street.
Can I bring my own food and drink?
No outside food and drink is permitted on site, however attendees are able to bring reusable drinks bottles. Please note only 500ml bottles with unbroken seals OR 1 x empty reusable plastic water bottle per person (not glass or metal) will be allowed. Free drinking water will be provided.
Items that are not allowed inside the arena include (but are not restricted to); alcohol, glass, cans, chairs, portable furniture, large umbrellas, parasols, tents, gazebos, laser pens, air horns, fireworks, flares, smoke canisters, barbeques, paper lanterns or any lighting with a naked flame.
Can I bring a bag?
You are permitted to bring small bags or handbags no larger than 21cm x 29cm (approx. A4 size piece of paper). , but please note all bags are subject to our search policy, so please avoid bringing one where you can as this will speed up your entry to the venue.
