Answers to common questions about the festival.


When does the Summer Series take place?

The Summer Series runs from 26 June to 11 July 2026.
Visit our What’s On page for full event dates and timings.

Tickets

Can I purchase a ticket on the day?

We strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance online or by phone on 0113 376 0318 (Mon–Sat, 10am–4pm), to aviod disappointment. 
Any on-the-day tickets will be subject to availability only.

When will I receive my tickets?

Tickets are usually issued shortly after purchase via email. Please check your inbox (and junk folder). If you haven’t received your tickets closer to the event, contact the box office.

 

Are VIP tickets available?

VIP tickets may be available for selected events. Please check individual event listings for details on availability and inclusions.

What are the box office opening times?

Leeds Ticket Hub will be open at the Carriageworks Theatre on Millennium Square from 2 hours before doors open and close at 9pm.

Do I need to print my tickets?

No—mobile tickets are accepted. Please ensure your ticket is downloaded and ready to scan on arrival.

Venue & Facilities

How do I get into the arena?

There are three main entrances:

Gate A: Portland Crescent (also provides access to the Accessible Viewing Platform)
Gate B & C: Rossington Street / Cookridge Street
All entrances offer level or sloped access.

Can I leave and re-enter the arena?

Re-entry is generally not permitted - when you’re in, you’re in. In the case of medical emergencies please contact the stewarding gate supervisor for further help and assistance.

Are there toilet facilities?

Yes, the venue has permanent and additional temporary toilets including disabled person’s toilets. Please make sure you familiarise yourself with the toilet location and layout of all venue facilities upon entry.

Is seating provided? Can I bring a chair?

No, portable chairs or large outdoor furniture will not be permitted inside the concert arena, unless it is specified as a Bring Your Own Seat event or ticket. A limited number of seating is available to purchase in advance for specific events as advertised.

Can I bring a bag?

Backpacks of any size or large bags will not be allowed into the arena. You are permitted to bring small bags or handbags no larger than 21cm x 29cm (approx. A4 size piece of paper).  All bags are subject to a search so please avoid bringing one where you can as this would speed up your entry to the venue.

What items are not allowed?

Items that are not allowed inside the arena include (but are not restricted to):

  • Alcohol
  • Glass
  • Cans
  • Chairs and portable furniture
  • Large umbrellas and parasols
  • Tents and gazebos
  • Laser pens
  • Air horns
  • Fireworks
  • Flares
  • Smoke canisters
  • Barbeques
  • Paper lanterns
  • Any lighting with a naked flame

Events & Ticketing

What happens if it rains?

It is an outdoor event – there is no roof cover and there will be no patio heaters. Events take place rain or shine, so please dress appropriately.

In the case of bad weather, you are advised to pack a waterproof as no large umbrellas are allowed. Small umbrellas will be permitted if used towards the back of the venue and not blocking anyone’s view.

Ponchos will be available to purchase from the two main bars on the night and are priced at £3 for 1 or £5 for 2.

In the case of severe weather, updates will be communicated via official channels. 

What is your child policy?

Age restrictions vary by event. Please check the individual event page.
Anyone aged under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult.

Can I buy official merchandise?

Yes - official merchandise may be available at selected events.

Lost Property

If you lose an item during the event, please speak to a member of staff.
After the event, contact events@leeds.gov.uk.

Customers with Medical Requirements

Any persons who require to bring medicines, food or drink to manage a medical condition or medical equipment will be welcome to attend all events staged at the venue. Please note however that glass or cans are prohibited items so wherever possible plastic drink receptacles should be used. If a bag larger than the dimensions specified in the ‘Bag Policy’ section is required, please inform the gate stewards that it is necessary for medical purposes and provide clarification of use. 

Please note that discretional security searching of clothing, bags and other items is a condition of entry to protect everyone’s safety. To avoid any misunderstandings in this respect, please make the gate stewards aware of what medicine, food or drink you require to have with you upon arrival. 

All persons attending an event are requested to make themselves aware of the standard venue terms and conditions prior to arrival at the venue. Should you have any specific queries or concerns please contact the council’s events team.

Food & Drink

Can I bring food and drink into the arena?

No - food and drink cannot be brought into the arena.

If you have a medical condition, then a doctor’s note will permit diet-specific food and drink only.

Will food and drink be available to buy?

Yes - there will be a range of food stalls and bars on site, offering a variety of options throughout the event. Please note the bars are cashless.

Is there vegetarian / vegan food available?

Yes - vegetarian and vegan options will be available from selected vendors.

Can I bring a reusable water bottle?

Only small 500ml sealed water bottles are permitted, or one empty reusable plastic bottle per person (no glass or metal). Free drinking water will be available on site.

Photography

Can I take photos?

Yes - personal photography of family, friends and/or scenic views to capture the atmosphere of the concert is permitted other than where other persons attending can be clearly identified as the main focus.

However:

  • Professional or commercial recording is not permitted without prior approval
  • By entering, you consent to possible filming/photography for promotional use
  • Official photographers and videographers will be present, if you prefer not to appear in content, speak to a member of staff or contact us in advance.

Accessibility

Is the venue accessible?

Safety & Security

Security information

Public safety at all our events is our priority and we continually review our security measures in conjunction with our contracted security provider (Gough & Kelly), West Yorkshire Police and other agencies to keep you safe.

• Please be aware that security searches of clothing, bags and other items may be conducted, at our reasonable discretion, at any time during your visit, including on entry and exit. We advise you to plan your travel arrangements in advance and arrive in plenty of time.

•  Please always follow any direction / instruction from our team of SIA registered stewards

•  CCTV is in operation with images recorded for the purpose of crime prevention and public safety

• Project Servator policing teams will be regularly visiting the events and please do not be alarmed if you see armed Police officers attending the event

•  If you see anything suspicious during your visit, please contact a member of security staff or alternatively call 101. In an emergency always use 999. Further information on what to look out for and how to contact police can be found at www.gov.uk/ACT
