‘Volunteering at Light Night Leeds was so much fun. There's something really special about being behind the scenes while the whole city transforms into this incredible outdoor gallery after dark.

On Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 October, Light Night Leeds will take over the city, showcasing spectacular projections, interactive installations, and absorbing street art to 200,000 visitors. We’re looking for volunteers who are enthusiastic, engaging and reliable, to fulfil a variety of roles at the UK’s largest light festival:

Visitor Support Volunteer – Be the face of Light Night, welcoming visitors and providing information and directions to artworks across the city.

Visitor Support Team Leader Volunteer – If you’ve previously volunteered at Light Night Leeds, joins us this year to help coordinate volunteers, supporting them to provide excellent visitor engagement.

Admin Volunteer – Assist in admin preparations and prepare documentation to ensure everything is ready ahead of the event.

Registration Volunteer – Create a welcoming environment for volunteers as you sign them in and allocate them roles at the start of their shift.
