Accessible and changing places toilets are available across Leeds city centre. Locations can be found on the Programme Navigation Map (please click here for the Programme Navigation Map link) and changing places toilets are also listed below.  Please note that in some instances, RADAR keys will be required for access.

Stoma friendly toilets: 
These facilities offer features to change and manage your stoma comfortably, shelf-space for organising your stoma management products, disposal bins in every cubicle, mirrors and hooks positioned at practical heights.

Each artwork has been referenced with information key words such as Loud or Flashing Lights. This is to help you plan your visit and decide which artworks are best for you. There are also quiet/chill-out spaces available in Leeds City Museum (6 – 9.30pm), Leeds University (6 – 9.30pm) and Leeds City College (Quarry Hill campus, 6-9pm).  Stimming and tic-ing is welcome in the chill-out spaces, but please go out of the chill-out space for longer conversations or to take a call. 

There is an accessible viewing area for In Dual Light at the level 2 bar in the Carriageworks Theatre. Please speak to our staff and volunteers at the event who will direct you to the viewing area. 
There is an accessible viewing area for IOLA 2.0 and her Robots at Trinity Leeds.  This will be on the ground floor near the lifts, between Next and Fraser Hart. 

Some indoor venues may only allow access for assistance dogs.  All outdoor venues are accessible for assistance dogs. Please refer to each artwork description for further details regarding refence points such as Loud or Flashing Lights, so you can decide whether they are suitable for your assistance dog. 

Light Night Rider 
Light Night Leeds’ very own wheelchair and pram accessible hop-on hop-off bus service is free to all.  Priority will be given to those with access needs.

Prams may need to be folded if possible. Bus stops are available for all the different zones and buses run approximately every 15 minutes.

Please note that the Light Night Rider service is available to help people to travel around the city centre and that the majority of the artworks will not be visible from the bus.

The Light Night Leeds accessible evening takes place on Tuesday 27th October, 6-8pm. Full details can be found in the word document, including how to register for the event. 

A BSL tour of Light Night Leeds will be delivered by Martin Glover, a deaf artist and BSL user, on Wednesday 28th October and Thursday 29th October.  

Martin will deliver another tour on Tuesday 27th October of six artworks ONLY on the less crowded Accessible Evening.  

The tours are entirely in BSL, with no spoken English.  Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult and a ticket must be booked for each attendee via the following link:
